We are members of the International Association Of Free Seventh-day Adventists, part of God's remnant church which looks forward to the soon, visible, second coming of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We believe in keeping the Ten Commandments as ordained by God in the beginning, and which is the identifying mark of His people in the last days (Rev. 12:17; 14:12.). We place special emphasis on the 4th Commandment which is God's seal, the one Commandment that man has tried to change. The 4th Commandment that God gave reads:-
"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."
Exodus 20:8-12.The Sabbath means rest and God tells us not to do any unnecessary work of His Holy Day. The weekly Sabbath is the seventh day of the week or Saturday, not the first day of the week or Sunday. God did not change His day, for God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb. 13:8). His law is a testimony of His Character which like God cannot change (Mal. 3:6). Man is the one who has supposed to change God's day of rest from Saturday to Sunday without any Scriptural support. Daniel prophecied of this in Daniel 7:25.
We also accept the Word of God as written in the Holy Bible, the King James Version (for English speaking people or the received text in any other language), as the inspired Word of God, which is not to be added to or taken away from. To do this would mean introducing error which is the case with all the new translations of the Bible, which try to put God's Holy Word into contemporary language from some of the most corrupted manuscripts available today. All modern translations are corrupt.
We have no creed except for the Holy Bible. All of our beliefs are substantiated from God's Holy Word, and are not things just inferred.
